My whispered yearning
echoes in heaven's
vault-
oh rainy season moon!

  *

at this temple
by the edge of the lake
I wait for the moon

   *

I wait for fireflies
I wait as if for someone
who will never return

        *

in this life, I've grown
accustomed to the
lightning
accustomed to the
journey
