Trastevere 
You are my heart 
In your meandering maze of streets 
Flocking footsteps 
Never sleep, never stop 
Like my heart beats 
Your spirit bohemian 
Your air filled with 
Laughter, cheer, chatter 
Music, love, aroma 
Life is always a celebration here, 
Beyond the Tiber 
Piazza Trilussa, Fountain of Joy 
Melting pot of cultures 
History walked on the Sampietrini (cobblestones) 
And is now standing on the 
Ponte Sisto bridge 
Dancing to the tunes of the future 
While the world claps endlessly.
