Welcome to my world.

A physician by profession, I like to spend my spare time reading literature and philosophy, getting to know different cultures and exploring various forms of creative expressions,..paintings, music, photography, cinema, theatre, sculpture and of course poetry. I am not sure about calling myself a poet; as I have not formally studied the art of writing. I am learning now, and simultaneously enjoying the experience.
I usually write in my mother tongue Gujarati and sometimes in Hindi and English.
Writing stories is like looking through a kaleidoscope, throughout your life you have collected so many (memorable moments, experiences) like pieces of colorful glass in different varieties of size and shape. …they all mingle together to form patterns even unknown to you!! Enjoying the journey to become a writer!
Also, I love to share any beautiful piece of writings that I come across.

આ બ્લોગ વિશે

જયારે આ બ્લોગ લખવાનું શરુ કર્યું ત્યારે હેતુ હતો સાહિત્ય ના સાગરમાં ડૂબકી લગાવાની અને
જે કંઈ મોતી છીપલાં હાથમાં આવે તે વહેંચવાની. પણ જેમ સૂર્યોદય થતો જાય અને તેના કિરણો નાનકડી બારીમાંથી પ્રવેશી ખૂણે ખૂણા ને અજવાળતા જાય, ના દેખાતા આકારો સાકાર થતા જાય અને અસ્પષ્ટ આકારોનું સૌદર્ય પ્રગટતું જાય તેમ સ્થળ કાળથી પર એવા આ કવિઓની રચનાઓનું પાન કરતાં કરતાં સમગ્ર જીવસૃષ્ટિને પરોવીને રહેલા અનહદ ના નાદ નું પ્રાગટ્ય થતું જાય છે.

મારે ના તો આ કે તે છંદ માં વહેવું
મારે ક્યાં આ કે તે પ્રાસ માં ઢળવું
કવિતા તો છે ઉચ્છવાસ મારા..
લાવ ને થોડી શ્વાસોની જગ્યા કરું.

પીડાનાં પંખી
હ્રદય ની આગમાંથી
ઉઠે ફિનિક્ષ ની જેમ
કાગળે મુકું
પાંખ મળે.

અમે તો વરાળનાં પગલાં તડકાની ફર્શ પર.
અમે તો સુગંધનાં ટીપાં પવનની તરસ પર.

  5. નેહલ દી ખૂબ જ ઉમદા કામ છે તમારા આં બ્લોગનુ મને ખૂબ જ ગમ્યું અને તમારી રચનાઓ નયનરમ્ય છે એક શીતળતા પહોંચાડી છે મને….

    કહેતો હતો “ગુંજન” પારેવડું થઈ ઊડી જવું છે કોઈ ધુનીના દેશમાં…
    ક્યાં ખબર હતી “નેહલ દી” મળશે કોઈ તમારા જેવું આં વેશમાં…

    1. ખૂબ ખૂબ આભાર, ભાવસભર અભિપ્રાય આપવા માટે! બ્લોગ ચાર વર્ષ પૂરા કરીને પાંચમા વર્ષ માં પ્રવેશ કરી રહ્યો છે ત્યારે આવો સુંદર અભિપ્રાય આપીને આગળ વધતા રહેવાનું બળ પૂરું પાડ્યું છે. Stay happy, stay blessed!

    2. ગમતું મળે તો અલ્યા, ગૂંજે ન ભરીયે
      ને ગમતાંનો કરીએ ગુલાલ. 
      આડા દે આંક એ તો ઓશિયાળી આંગળી,
      પંડમાં સમાય એવી પ્રીતિ તો પાંગળી,
      સમદરની લ્હેર લાખ સૂણી ક્યાંય સાંકળી?
      ખાડા ખાબોચિયાને બાંધી બેસાય, આ તો વરસે ગગનભરી વ્હાલ.
      ગમતાંનો કરીએ ગુલાલ.
      ગાંઠે ગરથ બાંધી ખાટી શું જિંદગી ?
      સરીસરી જાય એને સાચવશે કયાં લગી?
      આવે તે આપ કરી પળમાં પસંદગી,
      મુઠ્ઠીમાં રાખતાં તો માટીની પાંદડી ને વેર્યે ફોરમનો ફાલ.
      ગમતાંનો કરીએ ગુલાલ.
      આવે મળ્યું તે દઈશ આંસુડે ધોઈને,
      ઝાઝેરું જાળવ્યું તે વ્હાલેરું ખોઈને,
      આજ પ્રાણ જાગે તો પૂછવું શું કોઈને?
      માધવ વેચતી વ્રજનારી સંગ તારાં રણકી ઊઠે કરતાલ !
      ગમતાંનો કરીએ ગુલાલ.
      ગમતું મળે તો અલ્યા, ગૂંજે ન ભરીયે
      ને ગમતાંનો કરીએ ગુલાલ.
